The tall trees and towering Georgian townhouses that line the long streets of Marylebone give this part of town a distinctly residential feel. Once home to Hendrix, Madonna, and of course Sherlock Holmes, Marylebone is also one of the most sought-after areas for office space in all of London. And although it’s still popular with private medical practices – particularly around Harley St – the area is increasingly diverse in terms of the types of businesses who choose to set up shop here.
Marylebone is up there with some of the most expensive real estate in London. High-quality space demands the highest of rents and rates but the buildings are spectacular.

From celebrity haunts like Chiltern Firehouse to the Sri Lankan street food inspired restaurant Hoppers, Marylebone has a wealth of options when it comes to upmarket wining and dining. And like all the best villages, Marylebone has plenty of great pubs too. It’s also home to one of our favourite spots for steak frites: Le Relais de Venise L’Entrecote – known as ‘Entrecote’ to its locals.
